Well, I have been sick the week or so with a mild cold. I have been using essential oils to boost immune function as well as provide relief for my sinuses and chest.
Grateful for:
1. Reading Dr. Hyman's 10-day detox during a natural cleansing time (during a menses cycle, a virus and autumn). It naturally helps me to not crave junk foods when I am naturally not feeling upbeat.
2. Taking this time to just retreat into my own world. Being silent when possible... Or when opportune.
3. Realizing that this body is not invincible. I must take care of it. Sleep... Good sleep is crucial.
4. Taking the time to take slow purposeful breaths... Enjoying and embracing the present moment
