3. Re listening to Reverend Will Bowen's A Complaint Free World.

4. I have taken measurements and some selfies in preparations for my Ten day Transformation.

Day 1 begins when I wake up :)

Thankful Thursday, October 29, 2015

New and Fabulous:

1. Stuffed Halloween bags with coworkers today on the social committee - got to meet others and had a small taste of what it feels like to work in a pace moving assembly line.

Grateful to both my parents for having done the jobs they did to put food on the table and more.

2. How serendipitous to have called my friend and fellow health coach Catherine and actually have a great conversation with her every time despite both of our busy schedules. I just happen to call at the precise point in time when she was able to pick up the phone and talk.

3. Day 1 of two days of prep before my ten-day TRANSFORMATION! It's coming... More to come :)

4. Little M went to sleep with less of a fuss tonight :)

5. Continuing to read and really appreciate The Reason I Jump.

Monday, October 26, 2015: muffin madness

New and good:

1. I started reading a book entitled Why I Jump by Naoki Higashida translated by David Mitchell and his wife Ka Yoshida. It's amazing! It is a peek into my Little R's world... I will continue to post snippets of this delightful and miraculous book.

Thank you to my friend Jackie who posted it in her Facebook wall.

2. Just attended a live support call with Purium in anticipation for my Transformation.

3. After eating about half a muffin for my husband's birthday, I felt very much like crap. Even my daughter gave up after eating the outer parts of the deliciously too-sweet-to-be-good-for-you vanilla bean gluten free, dairy and nut free muffin.

I felt so poisoned and suffocated. My body was in a state of shock from the dessert. My felt sick to the stomach, eyes and solar plexus.

Feeling so crappy, I knew I had to capture this moment of gross feeling so I can remember it as a lesson for next time. Thou shalt listen to the messages of thy body.

It's linking massive pain (and extreme sluggishness) to behaviours that will help us to alter our actions.

My eyes feel so stripped of any energy that was free flowing before the invasion of the muffin (and the half that my daughter did not eat).

I am thankful for being to feel so crappy when I ingest food that harms me.

Thank you,

Good night

Kim

New and good:

1. Had a wonderful dinner out with Husband and Little M yesterday evening. It was nice and quiet, tasty freshly made food, friendly staff, clean atmosphere and happy company. Great choice, Husband!

2. Watching Little S right now as I am posting this blog entry. She has grown so much in her independence.

I still remember the first day of Swimkids. Her eyes were full of years and she hung on to the rail of her bed as I "encouraged" her physically to just go.

This morning she packed her own towel, and came to me with her hair ties.

Great job, Little S!

3. I am consistently and steadfastly working on my book using a timer working in 15 minutes blocks.

I love the momentum!

4. I weighed in at 152 pounds this week down from 153.5 last Sunday.

Looking forward toy Transformation that should be arriving this coming week :)

Seize the money and live your life!

Lots of love,

Kim

CHOOSEday, October 20, 2015

What an incredible day!
Let me count some ways:

1. It was a friend's son's eleventh birthday.

2. The Blue Jays won yesterday's game.

3. Canadians elected a new majority government.

4. I continue to steadfastly work on my Ebook.

5. Just finished reading Dr. Joseph Mercola's book: Effortless Healing: 9 Simple Ways to Sidestep Illness, Shed Excess Weight, and Help Your Body Fix Itself.

5. I got the kids to get into bed and turn off the light before 9 pm.  The little one kept holding on to me even when I thought he was sleeping. ;)

I am going to bed now and dream happy flying dreams!

How do you like your dreams?

May they be awesome just like you!

Sunshine and pumpkins,

Kim

Long thanksgiving weekend 2015

Thankful for:

1. Visiting family on Saturday was met with a very long car ride of about 4 hours that usually is 2.5 hours.

But it was worth it to be with family!

2. One of the kids said he was grateful for indoor plumbing :) I love that! I am always grateful for indoor plumbing, but how easily we can tend these things for granted.

3. Lots of great local food!

4. Apple picking with the kids and my sister... It reminded me of my first experience when I had first came to Canada. I am grateful to my late great aunt who provided me with do many unforgettable experiences.

What blessings do you continue to count?

New and good this weekend:

1. Celebrated anniversary with my spouse at the One World Buffet. We initially went there because Google told us that it had multi ethnic food such as Mexican!

When we arrived, we were stricken with awe at the huge murals of Mexico, China and Greece.

So we sat down, our waiter came and invited us to go help ourselves.

Well, at first glance the food was really really SAD. I mean, standard American diet: SAD. There were French fries, pasta and sauce that seemed to come straight from a can, frozen pizza... For the longest time I couldn't figure what was actually Mexican.

I politely returned to my seat and let Husband go up. I watched him look at the food. I was thinking he would come back to the table and suggest we just leave... It was 26.99 a head, and the food was certainly not worth it.

Well, he started gathering things on a plate. I breathed a sigh if relief. I would just  relax and make the best of it.

It was the company and atmosphere that would be most important. The waiter was fantastic, and the place was pretty nice. Some if the SAD food was even tasty... But ate too much, an put my body into distress.

Finally getting rid of the food from my body today.

2. Made lots of food on Sunday for the whole week.

3. My mom came over and helped me dig up the sunchokes from the garden.

Looking forward to detoxing and taking care of my body.

Can anyone guess what's in the photo above?

Cheers and rainbows,

Kim
