Must be Monday, August 3, 2015: a wake-up call

New lessons:

1. I had little sleep totally less than 5 hours last night which resulted in being less than sharp today.

This is a lesson still to be learned after so many years of sleep deprivation or what my husband calls, sleep debt.

So I was less than sharp at work, and I was just struggling to get words out.

Finally when I got on the crowded and very noisy train, I was able to close my eyes. When I looked out the window at our first stop I gasped at the sight of "Exhibition"; I was on the WRONG train!!!

Immediately, all the cells of my body were wide awake mustering up the adrenaline necessary to get me back in the direction of home.

Luckily, once I crossed to the other side of the tracks via the tunnel, I was able to hop on the correct train and was only delayed by half and hour.

2. Too much ice cream, dairy and sugar makes an upset stomach and raw hurty bowels.

3.  My daughter's pear tree is bearing fruit that looks edible this season! Reminder to self to fertilize it and find out how to help it grow better!
