I have been listening to Anthony Robbin's The Edge, and speaks about 7 steps to Conscious Change.
The first step is to get disturbed. Yes, that is right: GET DISTURBED.
Now, most people who know me, know me rather as a calm positive person. I say Ihat I can do anything I really want to and put my mind to.
However, there are some things that Ihave not acheived yet. For example, getting my body in the physical condition that Iwant. Yes, I have made improvements, but i want to move forward... and I have wanted to move forward for a long enough time.
Robbins says that you have to come to be honest with yourself. Once you are honest with yourself and admit that something is wrong (wrong meaning, something is not up to your standard, something that is not aligned with you), then that is the first step in creating conscious change.
When he put it that way, there are sveral things that disturb me: not spending the quality time I want with each of my children, not diligently ameliorating my family's diet, spending my waking hours working on something other than what I am totally meant to do...
So, it starts. Getting disturbed gets you on the road to make the shift toward another path.
Tomorrow I'll continue to share the next steps to conscious change.
What things are you disturbed about? What are you not totally satisfied with? What do you want to change?
To your success,
Kim
